This week, Art Hound Ted Schiffman highly encourages you to see Session Americana at Court Street Arts in Haverill, New Hampshire.

The raucous bluegrass/folk band recently played at The Haybarn at Goddard College. Session Americana has been garnering accolades from music-philes and NPR reporters. They play Court Street Arts this weekend. For ticket information, look here.

Nelson Jacque called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to recommend the Tinmouth Old Firehouse concert series season opener, featuring guitarist Peter Griggs.

Griggs plays music that spans literal centuries, from Renaissance pieces to jazz and bossa nova.

That concert at the Tinmouth Firehouse is April 5th at 7:30. Find ticket information here.

And Jill Skillin of Topsham recommends squeezing in the final evening of Jamie Masefield, Doug Perkins and Tyler Bolles as they end their residency at Muddy Waters Coffee House in Burlington.

The three masterful musicians play in other bands, like The Jazz Mandolin Project. Watch a video of them playing recently at Radio Bean in Burlington here.

Granville artist and floral designer Brenda Borowski called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to suggest a visit to Blue Moose Bend in Granville to watch Michael Egan blow glass. Studio hours are here.
