Live Friday at Noon: British Sea Power

Print More

Formed in 2000, Brighton-based band British Sea Power’s engaging and unique live performances define their early career. Dipped in reverb, their songs are full of jagged pop hooks and though they are often compared to bands such as The Cure and Joy Division, British Sea Power presents a style of their own – playful, logical, profound and defined by dazzling instrumentals.

BSP once again reigns over the seas, marking their international territory with the release of their third album Do You Like Rock Music? Recorded in several countries, including the Czech Republic and Canada, the album has hit #10 on the UK charts. The band’s first two albums, Decline of British Sea Power and Open Season reached the Top 40 and #13, respectively on the UK Albums Chart.
