From a French Fort nearly 300 years old to
Native American artifacts that date back thousands of years, an archeological
dig at Chimney Point a couple of years ago unearthed some amazing treasures. The
results of the dig will be the subject of two upcoming talks and displays this
week and this Sunday.
VPR’s Jane Lindholm talks with John Crock, director of UVM’s Consulting Archaeology Program about information and artifacts discoverd at the historic dig site in Chimney Point where construction of the new Crown Point bridge is taking place.
