League of Cities and Towns says the dire financial situation facing other
municipalities elsewhere isn’t so dire in the Green Mountain State.

to provide a set of standards for small town governments to thwart it
themselves.

Officials in Rockingham and its village of Bellows Falls have agreed to
bring a long-debated merger to a vote on town meeting day. In order to move the merger forward, they’ve
