You’re sitting outside on a warm summer day, and a brightly-colored
creepy-crawly catches your eye. What IS that? You might get an answer on
Vermont Edition’s summer bug show, when we explore the amazing worlds
that insects and bugs create all around us. Our guests are former state
entomologist Jon Turmel and naturalist Bryan Pfeiffer.

Post your PHOTOS of curious bugs you’ve seen on Vermont Edition’s Facebook page, or join the discussion below.

Also
in the program, a wildlife rehabilitator with a soft spot for
squirrels. VPR’s Jane Lindholm talks with Astrid Helena Nicolay, whose
new book, "The Squirrel Diaries" offers stories and cautionary tales
about rehabilitating wild animals.

And, an anniversary celebration! Five years ago Monday, Vermont Edition began its daily broadcast.
