Students cited for alcohol-related offenses at Dartmouth
College must enroll in a program
that pairs an online self-assessment with counseling. The program is also open
to students who are interested in cutting down on their level of drinking. This
is just one way schools and states are working to reduce binge drinking.

Vermont Deputy Health Commissioner Barbara Cimaglio joins
local college officials to discuss how severe the binge drinking problem is in
our area and the efforts being initiated to rein it in.

Also on the program, as the groundbreaking of the St. Albans
Wal-Mart draws near, real estate developer Jeff Davis discusses his vision for Vermont’s
commercial development and the 20-year process that it took for the retail
store to become a reality.
