The debate over the 787 billion dollar federal stimulus package pits those who see it as an ineffective and ultimately damaging effort to revive the economy against those who argue only government had the resources to do what was necessary to avert disaster. We’ll hear from both sides as we talk with Justin Wolfers,
associate professor of business and public policy at the Wharton School
at the University of Pennsylvania and Jeffrey Miron, director of undergraduate studies at Harvard University. The two are in town for a University of Vermont debate on the federal stimulus.  Email your comments and questions on the federal stimulus program to vermontedition@vpr.net
