Every year, Vermont ‘s agriculture industry comes together at the Annual Farm Show to check out new equipment, connect with others in their line of work and maybe pick up a blue ribbon. The Farm Show starts Tuesday in its new location, Essex Junction, and we talk with Deputy Agriculture Secretary Diane Bothfeld about policy issues on the forefront of farmers’ minds, and the diversification of Vermont agriculture.

Also in the program, Middlebury College is opening its new Center for Social Entrepreneurship this week. Professor Jon Isham explains the goals of the program that encourages students to use entrepreneurship to bring about social change.
