There might be something
missing from your diet- even if you’re eating all local foods and whole grains.
Herbalist Guido Masé thinks we suffer from ‘wild plant deficiency syndrome.’ He
says herbs, weeds, and other plants used to be a regular part of our diet and
his new book, The Wild Medicine Solution, aims to help us get them back on the
menu.

We’ll talk to Guido Masé and
take your calls and questions. We’ll also hear from Dr. Louis Kazal about how
to talk to your doctor about herbal medicine.

Post your questions or
comments about herbal medicine here or email them to vermontedition@vpr.net.

Also in the program, a look
at how the cost of higher education has changed in the last few decades. We
talk with Don Vickers, the CEO of the
Vermont Student Assistance Corporation
, who is retiring after 42 years in higher
education financing.

Plus, bestselling author Jodi Picoult lives in New Hampshire, and we got a chance to talk with her. She will give a reading tomorrow (3/21) at the Maple Street School in Manchester, VT at 6:30 PM.
