One man says he and his partner
are going without needed medical care.  Another
person, an unemployed geophysicist, has turned to making cheese and caring for neighbors’
animals to get by.

These are among the comments
posted to VPR’s Website in response to our series, "Hitting Home."

In addition to your comments, VPR’s John Dillon profiles a laid-off state worker.  (Listen)

And NPR reporter David Greene
tells us about his travels to collect stories about how people are adjusting to hard economic times. (Listen)

We’ll also talk with Valley News reporter John Gregg about
the political shakeup in New Hampshire
caused by President’s Obama’s selection of the state’s Republican senator to be a member of his cabinet. (Listen)
