Leahy, Welch Discuss Foreign Policy, Domestic Politics

Senator Patrick Leahy was in Cuba last week, where he met with Cuban president Raul Castro about the fate of an imprisoned American aid worker. Shortly afterward, he led a Senate hearing on foreign aid priorities around the world. Meanwhile, Congressman Peter Welch was in the Middle East recently to study the tensions between Iran and Israel. And these are just the foreign policy issues facing two of Vermont’s representatives.
