The University of Vermont has a number of challenges ahead of it, including budget concerns, keeping tuition costs down and labor issues. Tasked with meeting these is Interim President John Bramley, who took over when Daniel Fogel resigned in July, a year earlier than expected.

We talk with Bramley about how the first three months of his one-year tenure has gone and what he expects to accomplish before a new president takes the helm.

Also in the program, the deadline to apply for FEMA assistance from Tropical Storm Irene is today. We get the last-minute particulars from Billy Penn of FEMA and Carl Sherrill of SBA.
