A lot of work goes on behind the scenes between Election Day and the inauguration of a new governor. Much of it is done by the governor-elect’s transition team. We get an insider’s view of the preparations, pitfalls and the eventual hand-off of power from Liz Bankowski who has been on the transition teams for Madeleine Kunin, Peter Shumlin and President Bill Clinton.
