The annual BBC Proms is one of the largest classical music festivals in
the world, with 76(!) concerts in its multi-week lineup. The festival’s
grand finale is the traditional "Last Night of the Proms" concert at
Royal Albert Hall in London, and VPR Classical will bring you the
entire live concert on Saturday afternoon, September 11th, starting at

A festive new piece by Jonathan Dove opens the concert, with JiÅ™í BÄ›lohlávek leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra. The program also includes soprano Renée Fleming, and music by Strauss, DvoÅ™ák, and Elgar.
