In Burlington, Democrats have decided to reconvene their mayoral caucus on December 11th.

That decision comes days after the first caucus ended in a dead heat between two candidates, developer and airport commissioner Miro Weinberger and State Senator Tim Ashe.

Democrats say only people who were registered at the first caucus will be eligible to vote in the second one. They say otherwise it wouldn’t be a continuation of the first caucus, in which approximately 1300 voters registered. Registration and voting will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until everyone who was in line before 4 p.m. has gotten to vote.

Republican City Counciolor Kurt Wright is also seeking the Burlington’s mayoral seat.

And incumbent Mayor Bob Kiss hasn’t yet announced whether he’ll run for reelection.
