Novelist, essayist, humorist and "food writer" Calvin Trillin is a Montgomery Fellow in Residence at Dartmouth College. He is known for writing about the American vernacular and regional food but he claims he can’t cook and has never reviewed a restaurant. He says he writes about food as a way to write about other things.
