The Tunbridge Village store has been around for the better part of 200 years. When it closed for a time a few years ago, local residents feared they’d seen the last of it.

But then it was taken over by a couple named Judi and Jean Pierre who brought a decidedly international flair to the store:

Judi was a maitre’d at the Four Seasons in Boston. Jean Pierre is a five star French chef.

VPR’s Steve Zind stopped by to have a look at what they’ve changed – and what they’ve preserved – at a classic Vermont village store.
