Vermont State Police now say a third vehicle may have hit a Dartmouth College graduate student whose body was found in a travel lane of Interstate 91.

Police initially reported two vehicles had struck 24-year-old Mikhail Lomakin, of Norwich.

Now they’re saying it appears he was hit by three vehicles. And they’re looking for a vehicle that may have front-end or windshield damage.

Police are still investigating to determine how Lomakin ended up in the interstate highway’s travel lane early Saturday.

They’re interested in talking with people who may have seen him on Friday.
