Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean is trying to generate a flurry of campaign cash before the primary season begins. Dean hopes to add to his sizable campaign bank account by holding 13 house parties across Iowa before the state’s January 19th caucuses.

Dean has brought in a lot more money than the other candidates for the Democratic nomination, but so far he’s raised less than one-third of the money than President Bush.
