Earthquake Rumbles Northern Vermont

"Did you feel it?" That question is being asked across northern Vermont, after a minor earthquake shook the area just after midnight Wednesday.

The temblor was centered near Montreal, causing some buildings there to rumble for a few seconds.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or serious damages.

The Burlington Free Press says people in Vermont took to Facebook and Twitter to report they could feel the quake’s shocks as far away as Montpelier and Bristol.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale.
