You definitely feel a connection to your food if you grow it, or raise and slaughter it, as we’ve just been discussing.

Les Hook and Nova Kim are professional gatherers. They find wild edibles and sell them to chefs around the area and in a wild food CSA.  Vermont edition asked them to come by and tell us if there’s anything we can still find in the woods and fields at this time of year.
