With the price of gasoline on the rise, Vermont authorities are reporting several incidents of gas theft.
One report came yesterday from a Tunbridge resident who said someone took two cans of gasoline from a landscape trailer parked in front of his home.
Police also are investigating a similar incident in Brookfield on July 30th, in which three, 5-gallon gas cans were taken from a barn.
In another incident, a gas station in New Haven reported a pickup truck driver left without paying for $40 worth of gas.
