The protesters who set up overnight camps at City Hall Park in Burlington as an offshoot of "Occupy Wall Street" were moved out of the park last Thursday after a man named Josh Pfenning apparently shot himself inside one of the tents, and later died from his injuries.

The protesters say they will continue their demonstrations against income inequality in America, but they have not returned their encampments to City Hall Park since police evacuated the area.

Today we’re getting an update on the situation – and an assessment of the relationship between law enforcement and the Occupy protesters in Vermont’s largest city – from Burlington Police Chief Michael Schirling, who says the investigation into Josh Pfenning’s death is continuing.
