Here’s a twist on that pop-psychology saying that "Men are from Mars and women are from Venus." A better way of explaining the gender gap might prove to be that men’s and women’s brains are from those different planets.

Taking a closer look at the living human brain is a passion for Dr. Cynthia Forehand, a professor of anatomy and neurobiology at the University of Vermont’s College of Medicine. She is speaking tonight at UVM’s Carpenter Auditorium. Her talk is titled "Sex and the Brain: How do Male and Female Brains Become Different"

She spoke with Mitch Wertlieb about how much we can learn about the differences between men and women from mapping and investigating the intricacies of their respective brains.
