Leach Says Politics Has A New Strenuousness

Jim Leach is Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities. He’s in Vermont as part of his 50-state "Civility Tour." Leach thinks Congress has changed the way we do politics, with a new strenuousness having been brought into the political fray. He believes the humanities can provide us with perspective and teach us about living with each other as neighbors.
