As concerns about climate change grow, many are embracing renewable energy as the way of the future.

A Vermont science writer is helping to get kids excited about renewable energy with a book of science projects for kids. Michael J. Caduto is the author of "Catch the Wind, Harness the Sun."

The cover includes a promise of "how to capture marsh gas and watch it burn." We had to take Caduto up on that offer, so VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb met Caduto at a large marsh called Dewey’s Pond in Quechee to test out one of the book’s experiments.
