(HOST) With StoryCorps and the Shelburne Museum, we’re examining the effects of memory loss. Patricia Perkins is from New Haven. She talks today with William English about her migration from Winnipeg to Vermont. And her well-known neighbor in Arlington.

Note: Listen to this entire series and find links at vpr-dot-net. These interviews were recorded by StoryCorps, a national non-profit dedicated to recording and collecting stories of everyday people. Excerpts were selected and produced by VPR. Shelburne Museum is a partner in the project and has a multimedia exhibit this summer of quilts, photos and recordings called Alzheimer’s: Forgetting Piece by Piece. The exhibit runs all summer.
