Tuesday is primary election day in Vermont. Voters will choose the Democratic candidate for Attorney General and the Republican U-S Senate candidate.

The primary campaign pits Chittenden County State’s Attorney T.J. Donovan against incumbent Attorney General Bill Sorrell.

The winner will run in the general election against Republican candidate Jack McMullen, who is not facing a primary opponent.

The Republican primary ballot features a contest between John McGovern and Brooke Paige for the nomination to take on incumbent U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, who is heavily favored to win another term.
