PSB Critics To Gather In Wells

People upset about recent decisions by the Vermont Public Service Board are planning to rally on a mountaintop in Wells.

The event is scheduled for next Saturday. It’s expected to draw critics of wind power, smart meters, cell tower placements and the feared redevelopment of a pipeline to carry tar sands across northern New England.

The rally is being held on the property of a couple who recently were ordered by the PSB to grant an easement to the Vermont Electric Power Company for a communications tower.

Property owners Felix Kniazev and Olga Julinska say they’re also promising live music and other activities.
