Rockingham’s Select Board last week discussed the current status of the Worrall and Bartonsville historic covered bridges.
Both bridges were destroyed during Tropical Storm Irene.
Town officials hope repairs on the Worrall Bridge will begin on Monday, and they expect the bridge to be open by mid-April.
The Bartonsville temporary bridge is now functional, and the town expects to have a new bridge constructed and operational by late fall.
