Officials with Vermont’s ski industry say they’re thrilled with the results of the Martin Luther King holiday weekend.

Plenty of snow and seasonable temperatures kept the slopes full at resorts across the state.

Parker Riehle of the Vermont Ski Areas Association tells the Rutland Herald the numbers were "very, very strong, and really outstanding."

He says this year was way ahead of 2009.
