People in Brattleboro will have a chance to weigh in on a major bridge project next week.
The Vermont Agency of Transportation wants to replace an Interstate 91 bridge spanning the West River and Route 30 in Brattleboro. They’re holding a public meeting on Monday night.
Concerns about deterioration and narrow spans have prompted talks about a replacement bridge, which could cost as much as $45 million.
The Brattleboro Reformer reports there are questions about how often officials will shut down the heavily-traveled Route 30 during bridge removal and construction.
