Two people are in jail on charges they attacked a 63-year-old woman in her home during a drug deal.
Police say 30-year-old Ange Greene and 26-year-old Ian Daniel Gardner, of Milton, allegedly went to the woman’s home Saturday night to buy heroin from her.
The woman told police that the pair took her cellphone, money, a personal stun gun and an unknown quantity of heroin, and that Gardner punched her in the face and knocked her unconscious. She was later found by family members.
The woman was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care, where she was in critical condition on Sunday. Her name has not been released.
Greene and Gardner were later arrested at a motel in Shelburne and charged with aggravated assault, assault and robbery, and other charges.
