After two controversial uses of Tasers in Brattleboro last fall, both the Brattleboro Police Department and the Governor asked Vermont’s Attorney General’s office to study and prepare a report on their use. In one incident officers Tased two protesters who refused to leave a development. In the other, officers Tased a teenage boy in state custody. Attorney General William Sorrell’s office released its report on taser use yesterday. He spoke with VPR’s Jane Lindholm about the report.
