Vermont poet Tony Whedon wears many hats: He is a professor of Creative Writing at Johnson State College; a writer of award-winning essays; he’s a world traveler; a jazz trombone player; and the leader of the poetry-jazz ensemble PoJazz. Tony Whedon published a variety of his poems in a new collection. It’s called Things To Pray To In Vermont. VPR’s Peter Biello spoke with Whedon about the book.

Whedon and PoJazz will be performing at Jay Peak on February 29th, 4:30-5:30pm in the International Room, 7:00-9:00pm, the Tower Bar.
