Everyone’s
a Critic
By Aiden
Ellis
Twelfth Grade, Woodstock Union High

Out of his
reach
He said,
"Lord I do not mean to beseech.
But I’m a
preacher, can you teach me how to preach?"
Crashing
wave,
I know that
I’ll be workin till the grave,
I’m a
slave, Can you teach me to behave

Everyone’s
a critic in the end
But it’s
what you choose to do with judgment
That
matters here my friends

He was too
tall
They
shouldn’t have given him any thought at all
But they
saw, that he had so far to fall
Where to
begin,
They tore
his body right out of its skin,
It’s a sin,
He just sat there with a grin and he said

Everyone’s
a critic in the end
But it’s what
you choose to do with judgment
That
matters here my friends

It’s how it
goes piss on a rose and say you don’t know why
Give it
time, maybe you’ll see,
My last goodbye.
