Rebecca Stone suggests VPR listeners go see Mark Carter‘s abstract paintings on display at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on South Prospect Street in Burlington. The works are up through the end of the month.

Mara Williams, the chief curator at Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, highly recommends the Sandglass Theater piece, called, "D-Generation: An Exaltation of Larks" this weekend at New England Youth Theater on Flat Street in Brattleboro.

Annie Perkins called to recommend Bob & The Trubadors playing at the Red Hen Cafe in Middlesex on Saturday, March 30th.

Another chance for some acoustic music comes this Thursday, March 21st and next Thursday, March 28th.

Jill Skillin suggests seeing the trio of Doug Perkins, Jamie Masefield and Tyler Bolles as they finish out a two-month residency at Muddy Waters in Burlington from 8:30 to 11.

And finally, the Kurn Hattin Homes Select Children’s Choir has earned a coveted spot on the public television show singing competition, "Together in Song."

Morris Kimura of Brattleboro recently saw the Westminster-based group and was so impressed that he called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to recommend watching the student-singers on the televised performance airing on WGBY.
