Bettie Barnes, a fiber artist, recommends the Goddard College installation, "The Nature of Things," up now through May 11th in Montpelier.

The exhibit features several local artists’ interpretations of nature, including stone sculpture, photography, murals and more.

Pictured is a piece by Gowri Savoor, titled, "Seed-bank." Savoor’s works are featured along with several other artists.

Paul Donlon called the VPR Art Hounds hotline about his town’s celebration of Poetry Month. Bennington will hold a poetry reading featuring six Bennington-area poets at the Old First Church on Sunday, April 14th at 3:30 p.m.

Paula Albertsson of Pawlet encourages listeners to attend the Mount Holyoke Glee Club’s concert, "What Shines," on Friday at the First Congregational Church across from the Equinox Hotel in Manchester. 

Keith Baron called the hotline suggesting a trip to the Varnum Library in Jeffersonville to hear violinist Peter Miller reading original poetry from his recently published book ‘Let That Fiddle Sing."

Miller will also play violin this Saturday, April 13 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 p.m. The library is located at 194 Main Street in Jeffersonville.
