Master teaching artist Susan Rosano of South Newfane recommends the Brattleboro Gallery Walk and a stroll down the crafters’ corridor this Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the first Friday of each month.

Some featured artisans include Kathleen Kennedy, who creates fabric covers for gadgets and Dennis Waring’s cigar-box guitars.

The walk is in Downtown Brattleboro and nearby locations.

Pam Stonier, who plays in the Vermont Fiddle Orchestra,
called the VPR Art Hounds hotline about a fellow fiddler who is also an
artist.

The multi-talented senior Marty Davis has artwork of all sorts hanging as part of a
permanent collection at Zachary’s Pizza on Route 2 in Waterbury.
Stonier says Davis refreshes his works often with new collections to
enhance the dining experience.

St. Michael’s College music professor William Ellis called the hotline to urge listeners to see his colleague and Fine Arts prof, Brian Collier‘s new exhibit, called "Ecologies" at New City Galerie in Burlington. Collier’s show is up through May 28th.

And Liisa Newton from St. Albans called to recommend Sarah Jo Willey’s play, "Girl in the Other Room" at the Enosburg Falls Opera House this weekend.

Sarah Jo Willey’s original play, "Girl in the Other Room" is staged at the Enosburg Opera House this Friday and Saturday at 7. The play benefits The Alzheimer’s Association: Vermont Chapter and friends of the opera house. For ticket information, click here.

Monument" by Bread and Puppet this Friday, April 5th at 5PM.
