Jay Taylor, Ginny Stern and MaryBeth Blankeney all suggested Ellen Powell’s 25 framed photographs, hanging now through the end of the month at Mr. Crepe on the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, Vermont.

Powell is well-known as a jazz bassist and "has enjoyed adding the visual aspect of photography to her creative endeavors," says the TurningArt website.

Martha Herbert Izzi recommended Danby, Vermont artist Linda Durkee’s "Poetry of Color," –a collection of paintings, collages and photographs at Equinox Village in Manchester, Vermont.

Durkee’s colorful works will be on display at Equinox Village through January 14th.

Joyce Hendley urged listeners to take in a performance of "The Miracle Worker," staged by First Light Theatre Project in concert with F.H. Tuttle Middle School students.

Tickets are available at the door for both the Friday and Saturday performances at South Burlington High School Auditorium. Showtime for both nights is 7 p.m., with a Q&A session following the Friday evening show.
