Ken Leslie, chair of the Visual Arts Center at Johnson State College, urges us to see several wall-sized murals, painted by Tara Goreau.

Goreau has completed murals in the vegetable wash-house at Pete’s Greens in Craftsbury, High Mowing Seeds in Wolcott and The Galaxy Bookshop in Hardwick.

Leslie says Goreau always infuses her own wit but also finds local bits of lore and information about the town in which she’s painting to give the mural a true sense of place.

Professional clown, performer and politician Donny Osman suggests, "Circle of Sawdust," with Rob
Mermin

Mermin, founder of Circus Smirkus, has the inside scoop on all things under the big top.

This event will also be a book-signing event for Mermin’s new book, detailing the history of Circus Smirkus in it’s 25th anniversary year. The performance takes place at Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier on June 20th at 7:30.
