Scrag Mountain Music

One of Vermont’s
newest music ensembles Scrag Mountain Music. They have a couple of performances
coming up – this evening at 7 there’s what they’re describing as a “VERY” open
rehearsal at the Warren United Church in Warren, VT – and then this Saturday
afternoon they’ll be playing at the Church with cellist Julia MacLaine and
flutist Karen Kevra. It’s an encore of the same program they performed last
January, in one of their first Vermont
appearances. Scrag Mountain
is the husband-and-wife duo of bassist Evan Premo and soprano Mary Bonhag.
Walter Parker talked to Evan about their recent move to the area, and their
music.
