Blanche Moyse died last Thursday at age 101. She was the last surviving founder of the Marlboro Music Festival and chose to make her full-time career in Vermont. She founded and directed the Brattleboro Music Center, which thrives today, and the New England Bach Festival, which didn’t survive her retirement in 2004. We’ll listen to highlights from a 1984 New England Bach Festival performance of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion.
