New Hampshire
Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter has helped introduce a bill that would increase
medical and dental benefits for members of the National Guard and Reserves.
The bill extends a
Guardsman’s or Reservist’s pre-mobilization eligibility for some benefits to
one year prior to deployment.
Vermont
Congressman Peter Welch and New Hampshire’s Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter were on the losing
side as the House failed to override the president’s veto of the intelligence
bill.
