When you see a Sabra Field print, you immediately know
it.  Her iconic images of tucked away
village life in Vermont often
have deep, vibrant colors and expansive skies.
But some of her recent work takes a turn from those village scenes.  A new exhibit at the Chaffee
Art Center
in Rutland features prints from her
series "Cosmic Geometry" and depicts close-up, darker colored images of nature.  We talk with artist Sabra Field, and learn
more about her medium, and discover how her work has changed as she’s tackled
new subjects. Listen

Also, retiring New Hampshire Republican Senator Judd Gregg
is seen as someone who might broker a compromise on health care legislation
more to the liking of some Republicans.
We talk with Valley News political reporter John Gregg about the role Sen.
Gregg might play in a health care compromise. Listen

And, at least six Olympic cross country skiers have ties to Vermont
and our nearby region.  The sport has
deep roots in our area, and we visit with members of the Mount Mansfield Union
High School Nordic team, which is one of the state’s most successful teams. Listen
