In January, FairPoint emerged from bankruptcy. But the state-wide telephone, cable and internet provider still faces a number of challenges in customer service, billing and delivering broadband.

FairPoint Vermont President Mike Smith and Vermont’s Director of Telecommunications Jim Porter update us on these issues, look at how they fared during and after Irene and discuss last week’s agreement negotiated with the state’s Public Service Department that will reduce the penalties his company could face.
