We’re right in the middle of a busy campaign season which
was made more complicated by the recount in the Progressive Party’s
gubernatorial race. That has spawned a number of election issues in the past
few weeks, such as is late August the right time to have a primary? Should all
major parties hold a primary or is there a better way to select candidates? And
what can we learn from the mistakes that were made during the Progressive recount?

Secretary of State Jim Condos and Dorset Town Clerk Sandy
Pinsonault discuss these and other issues.

Also on the program, Seven Days’ "Fair Game" columnist Paul
Heintz discusses the latest developments in the gubernatorial and state
treasurer races.

And we listen back to the voices in the news this week.
