Employee ownership is a business alternative that’s been used to keep companies and jobs in local communities and give workers a deeper stake in their workplace. Vermont has been fertile ground for this innovative business model. Host Jane Lindholm talks with Don Jamison of the Vermont Employee Ownership Center , and with John Abrams, author of the book, Companies we Keep, about employee-owned companies and the different ways in which they’re approaching the economic downturn.
