Milk Prices, Irene Aftermath Worry Farmers

Farmers are embarking on the first planting season after the destructive floods of Tropical Storm Irene, and the continued recovery coincides with low milk prices. Monday, we talk with Vermont Agriculture Secretary Chuck Ross about the post-Irene issues facing Vermont farms, and the likelihood of federal legislation that may provide price assurances for dairy farmers.


Also in the program, the traveling exhibit "Our Body: The Universe Within" is now open at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center. Jane Lindholm walks through the displays of plastinated human bodies with Dr. Gary Mawe of the UVM College of Medicine.
