The House Transportation Committee has given the go-ahead to raise the state’s gas tax by a nickel. Bob Kinzel talks with the chairs of the House and Senate Transportation Committees, Rep. Richard Westman and Sen. Dick Mazza, about what impact the tax revenue would have on fixing the state’s transportation infrastructure. And, we examine whether raising the gas tax or increasing car registration fees is the best way to pay for repair projects. (Listen)
